About ITBP
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) is a Central Armed Police Force functioning under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The ITBPF was raised on 24th October, 1962, and is a border guarding police force specializing in high altitude operations. ITBPF is deployed for border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of the India-China border. ITBPF deployments range from 9000 ft to 18700 ft in picturesque and rugged mountain terrain which require a certain degree of toughness. Part-A- Profession related MCQs- 50 questions for 50 Marks (No Negative Marking)
Part-B- Profession related subjective questions- 10 short questions like technical definations/dose/route/name of drugs for 2 marks each (20 Marks) & 06 subjective clinical questions for 05 marks each (30 Marks)
Phase 3rd -Interview (PERSONALITY TEST)- 50 MARKS

MERIT LIST
:
(i) Merit lists in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST and OBC(NCL) will be
drawn on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written
examination and Interview.
(ii) In case of tie in marks, the candidate with older age will be placed higher in
merit list, if the tie still persists, then candidate whose name comes first in the
alphabet order (English) will be kept higher in the merit list.

INSTRUCTIONS - For Phase 1st Exam
- It is compulsory to bring this admit card and printout of online application form by the candidate with recent photograph.
- Your candidature is provisional and no one can claim his/her selection on the basis of this Admit Card.
- Candidates should bring with them original Voter ID Card/Aadhar Card/Driving License/PAN Card or any ID card issued by Govt, Educational Certificate (Degree Certificate), Matriculation Certificate for ascertaining date of birth, Caste Certificate EWS Certificate (if applicable) along with photo copy of each certificate and other documents mentioned in Para 3.4 and Para 4 (as applicable) of advertisement and Para 4 (as applicable) of Amendment-Cum-Addedum for document verification.
- Candidate should come duly prepared for more than two days stay under their own arrangements at the Recruitment Centre.
- ITBP shall not be responsible for damage/injury, if any, to the candidate sustained during PET/PST.
- Pregnant female candidates should not participate in PET process.
- Candidates have to qualify race within prescribed time as per notification. Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from PET only.
- No electronic or radio devices are permitted near the race area.
- Candidates are advised that if at any point of time they feel any uneasiness like giddiness, vomiting, etc. they should seek medical help
- No extra chance will be given to candidate for race and there is no appeal for PET.
- Any misconduct or cheating will result in immediate disqualification and debarment of the candidate. Decision of ITBP Recruitment Board will be final.
- Candidates who have filled application as Ex-serviceman have to bring discharge certificate.
- Result of PET/PST/Documentation will be uploaded on ITBP Recruitment Website www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
